I know it’s been a long time since I posted something about my powerlifting journey. Last year is a bit tough for me training wise because I lost interest in powerlifting because one of my inspirations left us it’s our buddy Dino. But I know if he is still alive he wouldn’t want me to quit powerlifting so now I am back! 🙂 This week I’m going to explain my training and it is my AMRAP week or plus sets week. This is the 90% of my 1 rep max and it’s basically 4 sets of one and the fifth sets is plus sets (As Many Reps As Possible).
For my deadlift it’s 100kg for 4 sets of 1 and for my AMRAP it’s 1 sets of 7. Touch and Go is 47.5kg for 4 sets of 1 and AMRAP is 4, Squat is 92.5kg for 4 sets of 1 and AMRAP is 2, lastly my Bench Press is 47.5kg for 4 sets of 1 and for my AMRAP its 3 reps.
Over all training is great because I still feel strong even though my lower back is a bit painful.
