Things To Do Outside Bangkok

Things to do outside Bangkok
Hey guys! Are you looking for things to do outside Bangkok that you can go eat, relax, and have a fresh air? I have a recommendation for you if this is what you are looking for. This weekend our friends, John, and I decided to visit our friends resort for the sixth time! Yes! six times!Β That right there state that we both love this place.

The things to do outside Bangkok is going to the Amphawa floating market and to our friend’s resort. Every time that we come here it’s so relaxing and this is what we needed a quiet and a fresh air over looking the river! Bangkok is nice but too crowded and noisy. The air is polluted with all the cars, tuk-tuk, buses, and motorbikes. Baan Suan Nuanta is the name of the resort and it’s a perfect weekend getaway!

If you guys decided to do this getaway you can come to Amphawa Floating market first. That’s what we did before we head to the resortΒ we went to the floating market we walk around the side of the river and had some authentic Thai food for lunch and play a cool game along the river! A lot of people sell all kinds of desserts, drinks and seafood. And you will definitely find some weird stinky seafood lol πŸ™‚ be prepare for that! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Amphawa floating market is smaller than the Damnoen Floating market and this place is not so crowded and most of the people that come here are local Thai people. Damnoen floating market is full of tourist and very expensive as well. So if you are looking for a weekend trip, want to go ride a boat you guys can come here and it’s less crowded and cheaper.

Here are some pictures at the floating market.

After we had lunch at the floating market we went to the resort. There’s some improvement on this resort they added more gazebo where you can have lunch or dinner by the river. They added a game called “bocci ball” I believe it’s an Italian game we have this game in the US as well. We play this game with our friends in the summer time and it’s a lot of fun if you have team! Food in this resort is very authentic, fresh, and lots of seafood! I always request the mackerel and crab they’re so fresh and yummy! They always prepare a lot of kinds of Thai food. And every time we come here we feel so relax and all we do is eat, swim, relax, and drink! LOL πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Their staffs are very friendly and the owner which are the parents of our friend Tim are so sweet and friendly! I highly recommend this place if you want just a weekend getaway from Bangkok. It’s only an hour and half or two hours depending on the traffic. If you guys want to visit this place don’t hesitate to contact me, ask questions or you can directly contact the resort. I will provide the link here and just make your reservations through them!

On our way back to Bangkok we stop by to see the big black monk near the Amphawa floating market. It is under renovation and our friend said it will be finish in 6 months. It is worth to visit this place.
